Referral Traffic
Referral traffic is great because it usually indicates that a searcher was interested enough in what they were consuming on another site, that they would click on a link of their recommendation for more information on a particular topic. In general, sites with lots of referral traffic will often find that the referral traffic is slightly more engaged than other traffic. They tend to stay longer, and click on more pages within the site.
