Trailing Slash Normalization

Normalizing URLs including the trailing slash will help ensure that search engine crawlers have an easy time crawling and attributing information to the site. Having a trailing slash or not is not the important part; the important part is consistently rendering the correct, canonical version of a URL in the address bar. This helps ensure that links point to the correct version of the URL, and eliminates risk that the incorrect version of the IRL will render different content, render a 404 or be missed in a site or page migration.
