Google and Bing worked together on an Indexing API that allows webmasters to format a feed, to send to the search engines to help get new pages into Google’s Index quickly, or remove pages when they are no-longer relevant. Currently, Google limits the type of pages that may be submitted in the Indexing API, but it is expected that this will eventually open to a wide variety of different types of content.
