Google recently updated Search Console, without deprecating the previous version of the utility. Now, at least temporarily, webmasters will express weather they are referencing ‘New Search Console’ or ‘Old Search Console.’ Different tools are included in the two platforms. The most useful tools in Old Search Console that have not been migrated to New Search Console are the ‘Fetch & Render Tool’ and the ‘URL Removal Tool.’ The most useful addition to New Search Console was the access to 16 months of data (in Old Search Console only the most recent 3 months were available.)
