In ASO, App Download Velocity can be directly influenced by driving downloads with paid app listings in the store, PPC traffic from Google, emails, social media, TV and any other marketing channel that can be used to encourage app download. App Download Velocity can have a very positive impact on organic rankings in the app stores, even though the things driving downloads can be sponsored, paid or otherwise in-organic.
