Answer Carousel

Answer carousels are a specific type of featured snippet that give an answer to a specific question or query, but also help you find deeper information on the specific topic, or learn about related topics. These are most commonly shown when the query is something that Google can easily understand, and has a lot of information about. In some cases, the filters are replaced with a carousel of ‘People Also Searched For’ cards or images. This is often true of factual queries, like ‘how fast can roadrunners run’. Sometimes it has other headings in the SERP, like in this query for ‘what is a macaque’, the Answer Carousel has the heading ‘Lower Classifications’.
